second millionaire of the year — added the Megaplier option to their ticket, the normal prize of $1,000,000 was automatically multiplied by three to $3,000,000. The winning ticket was purchased at Cumberland Farms #4743 at 19 Hartford St. in Granby.
The winning Mega Millions numbers for Jan. 10 were, 7 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 18. The Mega Ball number was 9, and the Megaplier® multiplier was 3. Players for the Jan. 10 drawing have 180 calendar days or until July 9, 2023, to claim their winning tickets.
Friday night's Mega Millions jackpot is now an estimated $1.350 billion with a cash value of $707.9 million, and ranks as the second-highest jackpot in the game’s history.
Mega Millions costs $2 per wager. The Megaplier® feature costs an additional $1 per wager — it can multiply non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, or 5 times. On drawing nights (Tuesday and Friday), wagering closes at 10:45 PM and reopens at 11:15 PM.
