The “Luckiest Game in New England” Draws 51,502 Winning Tickets for Connecticut!
Today, the CT Lottery is celebrating an overwhelmingly successful launch of the first-ever New England regional lottery draw game, “Lucky for Life
.” The game, sold in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine, boasts an enviable top prize of up to $1,000 a day, every day for LIFE.
Across New England, 166,905 winning tickets were purchased for the March 15, 2012 Lucky for Life drawing. Connecticut sold a staggering number of winning tickets—51,502 to be exact, with prizes ranging from $2 up to $2,000 in value. “Lucky sales and prizes won exceeded expectations,” noted Anne M. Noble, President and CEO of the CT Lottery.
The winning Lucky for Life numbers on March 15 were 1-2-6-10-19 and the Lucky Ball was 15. One top prize winning ticket was sold in Massachusetts earning that “Lucky” winner a mind-boggling $1,000 a day, every day, for life.
“People are very excited about the new Lucky for Life draw game,” said Upen Shah, owner of Crossroads Card & Gift, a CT Lottery High-Tier Claim Center in Norwalk. “Winning $1,000 a day for life…that’s really a big prize.”
CT Lottery officials encourage winners to sign their tickets immediately to establish ownership. Winning tickets must be redeemed in the same state in which they were purchased.
