Four Zeros Add Up to $2,672,500 Prize Payout
For the first time in CT Lottery history, 0 – 0 – 0 – 0 was drawn for today’s Play4 Day
drawing. Lottery players statewide are celebrating this afternoon’s drawing, making it the third largest payout in CT Lottery history for the daily game. When all the claims are paid, the CT Lottery will have turned over an incredible $2,672,500 to the lucky players with 0 – 0 – 0 – 0 on their tickets.
Lottery High-Tier Centers all around the state in Rocky Hill, West Haven, Waterbury, New London and Norwalk will be buzzing today and in days to come with winners cashing in their tickets.
“0 – 0 – 0 – 0 is in the top ten of the most popular combinations played, so we expect to see a steady stream of winners coming in to collect their winnings,” said Paul Sternburg, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the CT Lottery. “This isn’t something you see every day, so it is very exciting for our players.”
Play4 Day was added to the CT Lottery’s game mix in February 1998. The highest prize payout in the Play4 Day game occurred on January 1, 2002 when the number 1 – 1 – 1 – 1 was drawn with a prize payout totaling $6,235,000.
